Year Long Disaster Launch Music Video Generator For The Single “Show Me Your Teeth”

Year Long Disaster’s 2007 self-titled debut landed them tours with Foo Fighters, The Sword and The Cult, as well as praise from critics and fans alike, including Motörhead’s Lemmy Kilmister (with whom they also toured), who told Kerrang! Magazine that “Year Long Disaster plays rock and roll music like rock and roll should be played.”
In anticipation of the March 9th release of their second album, Black Magic: All Mysteries Revealed, Year Long Disaster have launched a special interactive Music Video Generator for the first single, “Show Me Your Teeth”. Simply choose two keywords from the list that pique your interest, then sit back and enjoy the ensuing music video based on your selections.
Black Magic: All Mysteries Revealed was produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Alice in Chains, Rush, Marilyn Manson) and is based loosely on the early 20th century Russian novel, “Master and Margarita,” by Mikhail Bulgakov.
Since their formation in late 2004, Year Long Disaster have channeled the bastardized muddy blues stomps of their forefathers and overlaid them with their own flash and drama. Of course the band’s pedigree makes their skill set less of a surprise. Guitarist and vocalist Daniel Davies is the son of Kinks’ Dave Davies, bassist Rich Mullins plays in West Virginia instrumental hard-rock trio, Karma To Burn, and drummer Brad Hargreaves moonlights in eight-time platinum-selling group Third Eye Blind.
Look for US touring for Year Long Disaster around SXSW and forward in support of the Volcom Entertainment release of Black Magic: All Mysteries Revealed. The first single, “Show Me Your Teeth,” is available for download on the band’s website for the small price of an email address (or you can grab it via the link below).
