The Oscar nominations were announced this morning, and it’s no surprise that the critically acclaimed film “Precious: Based on the Novel By Sapphire” was on the short list for Best Picture. It’s also no surprise that The Orchard’s Creative Licensing team placed the song “Have You Ever Seen a Dream Walking” by Sunny Gale from label Warwick Records into the movie. Atlanta R&B icons The Cashmeres may have disbanded in the 1950s, but their classic song “Yes It’s True” lives on as the soundtrack to a new commercial airing right now in Germany and the UK for the Ibiza Cupra, manufactured by Volkswagen’s SEAT brand. “Yes It’s True” is available on the new Iris Music Group collection “Best of the Cashmere’s – Yes It’s True.”
