Dipping into their earlier albums, we’ve selected Buck-O-Nine’s “My Town,” an energetic ska track from their 1997 release Twenty-Eight Teeth [The Orchard], to feature in the exciting documentary BoardHeads.

BoardHeads zones in on the fascinating cultures of board riders from skateboarding and snowboarding to surfing, wake boarding, windsurfing and more. Find out how these types of “boarding” are connected through inspiring stories from across the globe.

The film will premiere at the New York Surf Film Festival on Saturday, September 17th.  Click here for more information.

Hello–I’m davo, the filmmaker behind BoardHeads. I’d like to seriously thank the orchard for their contribution of “my town” to the killer soundtrack… With limited funds it was awesome to get support from bands like Buck-o-nine, pennywise, common sense, the blue hawaiians, and many more. Music is key to setting the mood in films…thanx again.

I will be at the screening this sat nite…it will be great to see any east coast BoardHeads there.

    Shred hard,

    Davo
