January 25, 2013 Freeloader Friday No Comments

Black Angels Indigo MeadowBig week this Friday! Some of our favorites are coming back with unique full album streams, a highly anticipated psychedelic band just released some mad artwork along with their new video and some exciting new tracks have been let loose courtesy of our favorite online music blogs.

To dig in… We start with The Black Angels of course, whose artwork you can preview in this post (<== pretty cool, huh?) and on their website, which is where their new video is streaming. Next up, iTunes is giving Local Natives a huge spotlight in the full album preview available straight from the store. Menahan Street Band‘s latest video is actually inspired by the 1984 film The Pope of Greenwich Village [we just had Trivia Night, so I'm in a trivia mood; no, that question wasn't in there; and yes, of course, my team won!] and it’s a really clever vid you don’t want to miss.

Veronica Falls and Young Galaxy are treating us to previews of their upcoming albums, while Menomena reveals a track that didn’t make it on their last project. And to close out, Tomahawk is unveiling their full album courtesy of Spin, and to make up for the fact that it was impossible to get tix to their sold out shows this week, Bowery Presents is streaming Ra Ra Riot‘s full show from this past Tuesday. [Inside tip: check out Ra Ra Riot's updated website, it's got some crazy interactive action going on.]
