STILL WATER RECORDINGS
is a new label emerging from New York City founded by Christopher Cruz of Post-Metal outfit So Hideous. The label’s main objective is to establish an artist’s vision without the boundaries or constrictions of genre. Still Water Recordings is currently home to a diverse roster of talented acts such as TIGER FLOWERS, Figmennt, Teleskopes and Everyone Dies In The End.
Christopher Cruz states, “I wanted to create an outlet that can shine light on local acts who deserve the efforts of exposure. I sign music that I ultimately feel should be heard by a larger audience.”
Things are shaping up nicely for Still Water Recordings with their first release from the Shoegaze / Dream pop outfit Figmennt, which debuted May 26th. Plans to bring in new talent will continue through the end of the year.
