Let’s hear it for Nada Surf, who are kicking off their summer tour dates with the release of the music video for the song “Waiting For Something,” off their recently released seventh album The Stars Are Indifferent To Astronomy.
The video, directed by Violetta D’Agata, is described as a personal journey through interlocking time in the lives of several interconnected characters, all of whom share the mystique and beauty of their Spanish island — Ibiza.
The tour kicks off tonight in Lancaster, PA with the San Francisco based group Waters joining the party through July 5th. Nada Surf is going to be playing in a bunch of cities they haven’t visited in a long time, and they’re super-excited to get back in front of those fans.
If you want a taste of what the band will sound like on tour, Rdio just released an exclusive live recording of Nada Surf‘s January 24th show at Bowery Ballroom. Believe me, it’s not to be missed.
