I’m an Italian national, though grew up on various continents and eventually moved to the States in my teens, where I ended up living throughout high school (Minneapolis) and university (Philadelphia). I moved to London shortly thereafter, have called it home for the last six years, and for probably many more years to come – I love it here.
After university I interned at a record label in Philly which as it turns out would shape the rest of my career in music. It was through the label owner that I met Colleen Theis when I first landed in London, and soon started working for her at Rykodisc International in marketing and distribution. To make a very long story short, Ryko eventually became ADA, and I became label manager and handled Ryko’s synch licensing. Prior to joining The Orchard I was handling ADA’s UK sales and distribution. I had the pleasure of working with labels such as Roadrunner, Relapse, Earache, Volcom, Rise, Fearless, Sunnyside, New West, and last but certainly not least, The Orchard.
I grew up as a metalhead, and metal still and always will hold a very special place in my heart. I do, however, pretty much listen to every kind of music you can think of, from the proggiest of jazz fusion to the cheesiest of pop. At the moment I am massively into jazz and folk – the more “musical,” the better. I am sucker for good recommendations, so send me some links and I will gladly return the favor.
When I am not at The Orchard I can be found at home perfecting my barista skills or on tour with Anna Phoebe or my band Jurojin.
Looking forward to working with all the lovely people at The Orchard!
