Summer is in full swing, and Shwayze & Cisco Adler‘s new video for “You Could Be My Girl” delivers everything we need to celebrate – bikinis, beaches, cold beer and a mellow island breeze.
“It’s California to the max – hot chicks and cool brews,” says Cisco of the video, which premiered last week on VEVO. “It’s a day in the life as we return to Malibu and hit the beach to get the word out. It’s just us being us. The video was shot by Talkboy TV, and they did an amazing job creating the perfect visual for this beach party jam.”
The song is the first video from the band’s upcoming release Island In The Sun, due out September 13 on Adler’s own Bananabeat Records, with distribution by The Orchard. “You Could Be My Girl” – packaged together with the album’s title track as a b-side – is available now (see links below). “Drunk Off Your Love” – the album’s second single – will be available digitally beginning August 16, and features Sky Blu of LMFAO. Additionally, TopSpin packages featuring limited edition Bananabeat -branded gear from sponsors New Era and Oakley will be available soon, as will iTunes pre-order details.

Shwayze & Cisco are currently on the Seedless Summer 2011 Tour with Slightly Stoopid and Rebelution, and make a stop in New York this Sunday at Governor’s Island. The tour wraps up Sept 17th in Irvine, CA.
