Once upon a time, there were 4 kids from Florida passionate about music. Each one in turn headed North, from Gainesville to New York City, leading to the formation of a psychedelic Indie Rock Pop band named Conveyor.
After the release of Sun Ray, a debut EP in Spring 2011 and a handful of self-released EPs, the Brooklyn-based quartet officially released their full-length self-titled album with Brooklyn’s Paper Garden Records on July 17… And the results are very exciting!
Digital retail, physical, college radios, new sessions, in-stores, features, reviews, interviews… no ideas were spared to promote the new Conveyor album.
On the digital retail front, Conveyor by Conveyor has been performing really well, with features in various curated sections on iTunes (U.S. and Australia), Amazon and Rekiosk.com, a brand new retailer where fans, bloggers and tastemakers act as distributors, and everybody gets paid. It’s an exciting new venture and Conveyor is one of the first to set up shop there!
From Daytrotter, Grooveshark and Hipstamatic to Indie Rock Cafe, The Deli Magazine, Listen Before You Buy, and Buzz Bands LA to name a few, industry and press continue to love Conveyor as well. Need proof?
- Conveyor… jumped from CMJ’s top 200 to the top 100 within a week
- Conveyor… grabbed the #1 spot on KFSR in Fresno
- Conveyor… reached the top #50 at KCRW in Los Angeles
Not bad, right?
