Jedi Mind Tricks Premiere New Video on HipHopDX

Philly rap group Jedi Mind Tricks released their long-awaited seventh LP, Violence Begets Violence, today, and they premiered the first video from the record yesterday on Hip Hop DX. For the song “When Crows Descend Upon You,” the action-packed clip was directed by Tom Vujcic and produced by Reel Wolf Productions. Check it out at the link below.

Story 5 ImagePhilly rap group Jedi Mind Tricks recently announced the upcoming release of their seventh LP, Violence Begets Violence, and they premiered the first track from the record earlier this week. Titled “Target Practice,” the cut features production from Hypnotist Beats. Check it out here.

On October 25, 2011, JMT is set to drop its seventh studio album, Violence Begets Violence, through Vinnie Paz’s own imprint, Enemy Soil. Though JMT fans can expect more of the uncompromising, unrelenting brand of hardcore rap music that has become the group’s signature sound, Violence Begets Violence, marks a change as longtime JMT producer, Stoupe, hands over production duties to a new wave of talented producers honed on the JMT sound, but set on creating a fresh take on a classic formula.

Today we announced a round of new distribution deals with an array of noteworthy artists and labels who will use services such as physical and digital distribution, innovative technology applications, digital marketing, song placement in films, television and advertising, music video digital distribution, and mechanical licensing and master performance collection. Joining The Orchard are the following artists:

  • Ryan Adams & The Cardinals, December 14th release of the double album III/IV, featuring unreleased music from 2007’s Easy Tiger recording sessions
  • Joss Stone, the new song “Back in Style”, written by Joss Stone and Marc Batson, is the very first release from Stone’d Records, which was founded by Stone
  • Big Kenny, solo projects from one-half of the multi-million selling country duo Big & Rich
  • Charles Mingus, unreleased music from his estate, as well as the recent 2011 Grammy-nominated recording, “Mingus Big Band: Live at the Jazz Standard”
