Observing the Observer… or uhm… “Observator”

August 29, 2012 Artist News No Comments

The Raveonettes' ObservatorI will observe, he will observe, they will observe… Will you observe this?

Though you may have already taken a first look at The Raveonettes‘ forthcoming album Observator with “Observations” and “She Owns The Streets,” here’s your chance to get a peek into the Danish duo’s creative intimacy with their behind-the-scenes video of the making of Observator. Yes, that’s right! The Raveonettes documented the creation of their upcoming album and put together a series of short clips that give fans an inside view into the studio and recording process of Observator. So what are you waiting for? Observe this!

Premiered on Paste Magazine, Part 1 of the series reveals Sune Rose Wagner confessing about noise, confusion, beauty, and unique influences and inspirations that went into writing this new collection of songs. Sune Rose Wagner, Sharin Foo and mentor/producer Richard Gottehrer (who also happens to be Co-Founder of The Orchard!) are caught on tape, in full swing, from within the Sunset Sound Studios of Los Angeles.

We observed it and we loved it! Now it’s your turn:

Catch Observator on September 11th on Vice Records. Or better yet, go see The Raveonettes live! Tour dates below.
