I come to The Orchard having worked for three other indie distributors. Over 13 years, I have put thousands of music and video labels along with the top DSPs under my belt. More recently, I managed content operations for two startup platforms, one in VOD and the other in music. Selling vinyl at Tower Records and working at All Music Guide allowed me to be part of the digital revolution as it unfolded. Someone somewhere appreciates that I cleaned up Johnny Hallyday’s discography! My path continues to be full of great adventures, education and opportunities to make lifelong connections with music nerds, tekkies and pop culture enthusiasts alike. I enjoy keeping an eye on the NY digital and tech movement.
Personally, I am a NY transplant of 5 years coming from a small town in Michigan named Hell. The last show I went to was Little Richard and I am looking forward to seeing Brandi Carlile and Blitzen Trapper in the fall. I try to get to as many small film festivals as I can throughout the year. NYC is great for those! The last film fest I went to was the Bicycle film fest. In fact, if you bike to work and have picked up a good route from Brooklyn, let me know. Other than that, I spent my summer hitting the beach, hanging out with a blue-eyed Chihuahua, working on my green thumb and stocking up my camera collection. I am planning a wedding so newlyweds, advice is welcome along with any playlist do’s or don’ts!
