Mines, the follow-up to the acclaimed Friend and Foe (which Pitchfork awarded the vaunted “Best New Music” title and scored an 8.5), is already being lauded as a deeply captivating and unconventional album. Alternative Press called Mines “meticulously crafted” and gave the record four stars, and Paste Magazine was moved to note that “on Mines full-blown insanity finally breaks free of the straightjacket.”

Fans who pre-order Mines via http://menomena.barsuk.com/mines will have a unique opportunity to purchase exclusive, limited-edition goodies. Among the items available for purchase along with the new album are a gatefold, double seven-inch single with exclusive non-album tracks “Copious” and “Let Me Know” (limited to 1000 numbered copies), a limited-edition hand-numbered glow-in-the-dark screen-printed poster by Tyler Stout, and more. The original art by Menomena’s Danny Seim offered at the beginning of the presale sold within a few hours.
