The Orchard Picks Up Louis C.K.’s “I Love You, Daddy”

Louis C.K.The Orchard is making headlines today after acquiring worldwide rights to Louis C.K.‘s film, I Love You, Daddy. The TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) purchase is one of the festivals largest deals this year.

The bold and intriguing film includes a wildly packed cast starring Chloe Grace Moretz and John Malkovich as well as Charlie Day, Edie Falco, Pamela Adlon, Ebonee Noel Rose Byrne and Helen Hunt.

Louis C.K. shot the entire film in secret this past summer which he also co-wrote, financed and edited himself. The film may make your skin crawl as it follows a successful writer-producer (C.K.) who attempts to keep his teenage daughter (Moretz) from falling for a man four times her age (Malkovich). Shot on 35mm film and featuring an orchestral score, the offbeat film simply radiates C.K. and his vision.

The Orchard looks forward to, along with Louis C.K. boldly breaching the barriers of Hollywood expectations.
