June 15, 2011 Artist News No Comments

Since Pepper Rabbit‘s debut album Beauregard was released last fall, the band has been touring nonstop, with the likes of Passion Pit, Freelance Whales, Miniature Tigers, and Ra Ra Riot.  The duo made up of Xander Singh and Luc Laurent is now pleased to announce the release of their new album Red Velvet Snow Ball this summer, along with upcoming tour dates with Givers.

On tour, Pepper Rabbit will continue to showcase stand out tracks from Beauregard, like “Older Brother”, as well as tracks from the new sophomore album.

Red Velvet Snow Ball will be released on August 9th, 2011 on Kanine Records. The Los Angeles duo continues to be inspired by the band’s birthplace of New Orleans, highlighting their ability to incorporate 11 instruments into their songs and include influences that span generations – from Portishead to David Bowie, Supertramp to Jamie Lidell – creating their own brand of psychedelic pop music.

The Black Angels’ “Phosphene Dream” Out TODAY Along With Their Debut Music Video For “Telephone” On IFC.com

September 14, 2010 Artist News No Comments

Austin psych-rock quintet The Black Angels released their long-awaited third LP, Phosphene Dream, today via Blue Horizon, and the album is currently streaming in full all over the internet. Any fans who didn’t get a chance to listen to Phosphene Dream on MySpace this past weekend can now check it out on AOL Spinner, MSN’s Listening Booth or The Black Angels’ own website.

The band also just premiered the creepy new video for single “Telephone” yesterday on IFC.com.
