Vintage Trouble: Blowing Up With The Bomb Shelter Sessions

December 4, 2012 Artist News 1 Comment

Vintage Trouble has had quite the year. In 2012 alone, the band has toured with Van Hunt, The Cranberries, Lenny Kravitz and Joss Stone. Now to cap off it all off, they are in the midst of wrapping up a very successful tour opening for Rock ‘n’ Roll legends The Who!

This soulful quartet’s incendiary live show has been earning accolades and has been attracting a number of enthusiastic supporters, such as their ever-growing fan community called “The Troublemakers,” wherever they go. Paste recently named the band one of their Top 5 Live Acts of 2012, describing frontman Ty Taylor as the “ultimate showman.” Vintage Trouble also caught the attention of NPR, who aired an interview with Taylor and guitarist Nalle Colt on Weekend Edition a few weeks back.

For those of you who have missed out on one of the best live acts around, do not fret. You have an opportunity to catch Vintage Trouble perform “Blues Hand Me Down” on The Late Show with David Letterman this Thursday, December 6.

The band’s recently reissued debut album The Bomb Shelter Sessions is available now.

Remaining tour dates with The Who are below:

December 5: Madison Square Garden — New York, NY
December 6: Prudential Center — Newark, NJ
December 8: Wells Fargo Center — Philadelphia, PA
December 9: Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino — Uncasville, CT
