The world’s favorite Blue Heeler pup, Bluey, reached another incredible milestone. The children’s animated series and music act reached one billion streams! In June 2024, we celebrated Demon Music Group’s achievement of Bluey reaching 500 million streams in just 3 years. And only 15 months later, the label doubled that number.
Bluey, a popular children’s animated series, centers on a highly energetic, imaginative, and curious Blue Heeler puppy named Bluey. The TV series is accompanied by original music from Joff Bush, which has been released by The Orchard-distributed label Demon Music Group.
Double Or Nothing
Reaching one billion streams is no small feat. To date, Demon Music Group and The Orchard have released 3 Bluey albums, 12 singles, and even delivered their first spatial audio album. On the physical music side, the label released a Record Store Day vinyl single of “Burger Dog” from the series.
Bluey’s accomplishments are featured all over the world. Bluey The Album was the first Children’s album to top the official charts in Australia. Additionally, all three albums have topped the US Kids Charts. Some notable awards include ‘Best Children’s Album’ at the ARIA awards and the ARPA screen music awards. On the DSP side, Apple Music featured Bluey in their ‘New Music Daily.’ And Bluey became the first children’s act to be included in Spotify’s coveted ‘New Music Friday’ coverage.
