The third album by the Providence, RI noise-rock duo Lightning Bolt was hailed in “Best of the 2000s” list by Pitchfork who claimed that “this duo’s pounding, relentless repetition turns superfluity and excess into glorious virtues.” Additionally, Tiny Mix Tapes described Wonderful Rainbow as “a vibrant world of frenetic and brilliant ear destruction…”
