Ear Worms And Choreo: Anuel AA and Daddy Yankee Take Home PJs

Ear Worms And Choreo: Anuel AA and Daddy Yankee Take Home PJs

The 2020 Premios Juventud took place last night August 13, in Hollywood, Florida. While many accepted awards via video, those in attendance wore masks and kept social distance in mind throughout the ceremony.

The Premios Juventud awards, aka PJs, include very unique and specialized categories catered to the millennial generation. From social media influencers and celeb couples to fashion and accessories as well as music and dance, the show covers all forms of entertainment across the Latin music community.

Real Hasta La Muerte artist, Anuel AA took home four awards, thanks in part to his wife? fiance? long-time partner? Karol G. His addictive track “China” featuring Daddy Yankee, Karol G, Ozuna & J Balvin earned both The Traffic Jam (Songs you listen to while stuck in traffic) and The Perfect Mix (Best collaboration song). The pair also earned an award the how adorable their relationship is with the category Together They Fire Up My Feed (Couple or friends that appear on each others’ feeds). But the wins don’t stop there. Did you know pups can win a PJ too? Their adorable furry friend Goku also earned the prize for #PetGoals!

Timing couldn’t be better with this year’s awards. The king of music videos, Daddy Yankee just reached 2 billion views for “Con Calma.” You’ve seen people all over social media try to reenact the dance moves in his videos. So it’s no surprise the Reggaeton superstar won the category This Choreo is On Fire (Best dance choreography in a music video) for the song “Que Tire Pa’ ‘Lante.”
Congratulations to all our partners involved! See the full list of Premios Juventud winners here.
