Joyce Wrice – Motive (Joyce Wrice Music)

The new EP, Motive, by R&B/Soul artist, Joyce Wrice, is out now. In between her debut album and conceptualizing ideas for her sophomore album, Wrice says, “I was motivated to create an EP that the world could dance to. Motive is experimental, fun, carefree, and sexy. After Overgrown, I was inspired to be free-spirited and to let loose and during this process, I consistently asked myself, ‘what’s your motive’?” This 5-track project includes songs produced by KAYTRANADA, Osinachi, Mack Keane, Kaelin Ellis, and Swavy. The EP includes her hit single, “Iced Tea,” which has amassed over 7.2M streams globally.

Courtney Marie Andrews – Loose Future (Fat Possum)

GRAMMY nominated artist Courtney Marie Andrews, debuts her new album, Loose Future. After more than a decade on the road, the Phoenix-born singer-songwriter was given the chance to make a “record of triumph.” The album was recorded at Sam Owen’s upstate New York Flying Cloud Studios, with musicians Josh Kaufman (Bonny Lighthorseman), Chris Bear (Grizzly Bear), and Sam Owens (Sam Evian). With singles like “Thinkin’ On You” and “These Are The Good Old Days,” Andrews takes listeners on a dynamic journey of falling in love. Loose Future is inspired by the sounds of David Bowie, Shania Twain, Stevie Wonder, and more.
