Muddy Monk – Ultra Dramatic Kid (Half Awake)

Swiss-born Muddy Monk began his artistic career as a producer, subsequently landing a feature on the hit song “Le Code” in 2017. Since then, he has successfully transcended into a genre of his own: romantic, synth-laden pop. Today, he sings in French about his life thus far, drawing on themes of love, adventure, and honesty. His lyricism has only reached new heights since his successful first album in 2018, Longue Ride. The stages he has graced – from Pitchfork Festival Paris to a sold-out Gaité Lyrique – will be reinvigorated with his newest body of work, Ultra Dramatic Kid. Critically acclaimed and filled to the brim with artistry, the artist’s sophomore album takes listeners on a powerful journey. Don’t miss the new release – listen to Ultra Dramatic Kid here.
