It’s been 36 years since their last release F in 1982, but German rock act Fargo is back with their brand new studio album Constellation, released through Steamhammer/SVP. The album is jam packed with instant classic rock songs including the first single “Leave It,” released earlier this year. The Fargo reunion was preceded by the major success of Peter Knorn’s (founding member) autobiography, Bis hierhin und so waiter, 20 Jahre Rock ‘n’ Roll which came out in the summer of 2016. Since its release, the musician and band manager has seen a resurgence of requests by faithful Fargo fans to reactive the band. In an interview, Knorn explains the initial spark that triggered the comeback saying how, “suddenly I wondered how Fargo would sound today if the band was still around – or indeed returned.” Check out the official video for “Step Back” below before rockin’ out to the rest of the album, available in stores now.
After working behind-the-scenes on Chappelle’s Show and Inside Amy Schumer, Neal Brennan stepped into the limelight with his stand-up comedy show 3 Mics. Last year, the show became available on Netflix, and today you can listen on audio when you’re looking for life on-the-go. In his performance, Brennan alternates between three separate microphones, each giving voice to the various aspects of his life: the first microphone is his take on race, gender and contemporary heroes and hypocrites; the second shows his “punchy wit” with one-liners he’s crafted over the years but could never find a home for; and the third microphone stands for stories of his personal struggles, dealing with everything from depression to relationships. Check out the the Netflix trailer for the show and find the audio for 3 Mics, out today via Comedy Dynamics.
We could continue talking about all the releases, but then we’d be here all day. Catch you next week with new music. Cheers!
