Welcome, Amy!

amy1Introducing Amy Nelson, Client Relations Manager, Classics

Hi everyone, my name is Amy Nelson and I’m joining The Orchard team as Client Relations Manager, Classics. I’ve come over from LSO Live, the label of the London Symphony Orchestra, where I was the Sales & Marketing Coordinator for the last two years. I studied classical music at Junior Trinity College of Music, Greenwich and the University of York, and can play the trumpet, piano, violin and organ although sadly I don’t have much time to play anymore!

Although I have a very classical background my favorite genres to listen to include hip hop, rap, some heavy metal, and my favorite bands/artists include Fleetwood Mac, Yelawolf and Metallica. Outside of the office I enjoy cooking (particularly recipes from the Hairy Bikers!), reading, traveling and going for walks with friends and my dog Hoshi, a rather large Japanese Akita. I’m very excited to have started at The Orchard and I’m really looking forward to getting to know everyone!
