It’s great to be at The Orchard as Associate Producer, producing soundtrack albums, compilation albums, and playlists for the Special Products department.
Recently I wrapped up an extended consulting role at Legacy Recordings, where I launched a few successful product lines and developed content for more than 125 new releases in the acclaimed The Essential series, including key titles by The Kinks, R. Kelly and James Taylor. I also produced compilation albums for Matthew Sweet, Shawn Colvin and Fishbone, along with multiple collections of ’80s hits.
Prior to Legacy, I was head of editorial for RCA Records, overseeing campaigns for Foo Fighters, Kings Of Leon, Christina Aguilera, Dave Matthews Band and The Strokes. RCA is also where I began my long affiliation with the Elvis Presley catalog team, from the 3x-platinum #1 album ELV1S: 30 #1 Hits through numerous box sets and reissues.
In the fashion world, I’ve programmed music for runway shows, shopping events and in-store play on behalf of clients like Tory Burch and Lucky. As a professional DJ, I’ve logged upwards of a thousand events and club nights, including singer Lisa Loeb’s wedding and parties for Rolling Stone, Rock Of Ages and The New York Aquarium. Currently, I spin indie rock and more on a regular basis around NYC and NJ, including active residencies at Northern Soul and DC’s, both in Hoboken.
I earned a certificate in electronic music production from Dubspot and recently began producing remixes and original music. In the past I’ve dabbled in rock journalism, interviewing Pat Benatar, Saint Etienne, and Barenaked Ladies along the way. I graduated from Rutgers University with B.A. degrees in History and Journalism.
A longtime Hoboken resident, some of my favorite places are Asbury Park, Coney Island and Yankee Stadium.
