The Orchard Presents: Skylar Stecker

The Orchard Presents: Skylar Stecker

Our newest edition of The Orchard Presents features Skylar Stecker, who graced The Orchard New York office stage to showcase her art. At just 17 years-old, Skylar has certainly proven herself as an independent artist with a distinct creative vision. Her journey of exploration reveals her raw talent, vulnerability, and inner-confidence  — perfectly displayed in her sophomore album Redemption and the three songs she shared with us.

Skylar has been on the road to success since the beginning of her career. Her powerhouse vocals that straddle the line between Pop and R&B, gained attention on Elvis Duran’s show and Billboard’s dance chart. Now, with the release of Redemption, she is making a name for herself as an independent singer who releases anthems that are “the truest representation of who [she is],” Stecker told Refinery29.

All it takes is a voice and piano for Skylar to speak her truth. Listen to the live, stripped performance of “Don’t Test Me,” “Let It Pour,” and “Redemption” and be sure to stream the full Redemption album for the full Skylar Stecker experience.
