Introducing Jessica Payne, Senior Director, Digital Operations
Hi all, I’m Jessica Payne and I’ve joined the Digital Ops team as Senior Director, Digital Operations. Joining The Orchard saved me from zombies! I was previously at AMC Networks (AMC, BBC America, IFCtv, SundanceTV and WEtv) overseeing distribution of The Walking Dead and other programming to a variety of partners. I’m excited to take on music distribution as I’ve always been more of a music listener than a TV watcher (shhhh, don’t tell my former colleagues).
I’m originally from Michigan and even after all these years I’m still your fairly stereotypical nice Midwesterner. Unless people are walking too slowly in front of me on the sidewalk — then it’s over. While I have a deep fondness for 80/90s pop, my taste in music is relatively varied. In my free time I like to sing poorly but without shame in front of my cat Monkey, play backgammon, and hang out in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
