Pandora Premium Is Here & It ‘Sounds Like You’

Pandora Premium Is Here & It ‘Sounds Like You’You have likely noticed the new ‘Sounds Like You’ campaign that Pandora has launched to announce the arrival of Pandora Premium, their new paid on-demand subscription service. Pandora Premium is now available to all users on mobile via the Apple App Store and Google Play.

The ‘Sounds Like You’ promotion is an artist driven marketing campaign that is quite unique. Put in motion to celebrate the wide availability of it’s new Pandora Premium music service, ‘Sounds Like You’ highlights Pandora’s “legacy of delivering truly personalized music experiences for listeners and artists.”

“Music lovers today have more complex and eclectic tastes than ever. ‘Sounds Like You’ embodies Pandora’s unique ability to deliver a music experience completely personal to each listener,” said Nick Bartle, chief marketing officer at Pandora.

Quite a few musical artists are taking part including Big Sean, Miranda Lambert, Questlove, 2 Chainz, Bishop Briggs, Daya, Halsey, Keith Urban, Lil’ Yachty, Maggie Rogers, Nicky Jam, Pitbull, Ziggy Marley and more. They have participated by sharing their musical inspirations and memories. Each artist was photographed placed next to a Pandora “P” that is made entirely of album art from music meaningful to them as artists and as fans. These iconic images are featured in digital ads inviting listeners to check out curated mixtapes. The images also appear on billboards around the country plus there are hand painted murals by MADSTEEZ In Los Angeles and New York. The Orchard’s very own release by producer/DJ/musician RJD2 – was included on the mixtape hand curated by virtual animated band, Gorillaz.
